Welcome to Capt Dr Tom Clack - a new trainee

The practice is pleased to welcome a new GP trainee - Capt Dr Tom Clack. Tom trained at Leeds University, has done some post qualification posts at Pinderfields and has a house in Pontefract. He is a doctor in the Army Medical Service and is training to be a GP. He has a lot of experience as a GP trainee - he has worked as a trainee in a training practice in Guiborough, but has also done some other interesting stuff. As part of his military duties he has done a tour of Iraq where he was a trainee at Basra Palace.

He knows all about the practice as when he as a student he shared a house with Dr Campbell Murdoch - we have lots of patients (and staff) who remember Campbell with some fondness! He is with us for 10 months to complete his training - he has come to us as a sort of finishing school - nice thought that!
